Our client was an employee of a furniture manufacturing plant who took medical leave after a forklift accident injured his back. When he was eventually released to return to work with medical restrictions he was terminated by the employer. We filed suit for disability discrimination due to the employer’s failure to provide reasonable accommodations to our client that would have permitted him to work. The case settled for $82,500 before trial.
