$50,000 settlement for slip and fall at grocery store

Our client was a woman who had been shopping at a Food Lion grocery store in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.  During the course of shopping, our client slipped in a puddle of water towards the front of the store.  As a result of her slip, our client suffered several long-term bodily injuries.  After suit was filed against Food Lion for failing to take adequate care in its stores, settlement for $50,000 was eventually reached by the parties.
