More ADA claims filed in 2009 than in any other year
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has released statistics that more people filed complaints of disability discrimination under the Americans with Disabilities Act in 2009 than in the past 20 year history of the ADA. Reports credit this increase to a new amendment to the ADA which broadens the definition of what it means to be disabled as well as the recession.Post a comment
